I'm getting ready to build my own BBQ Island so I did price comparisons for BBQ Island components (Blaze Grill, Griddle, Refrigerator, Trash Drawer, Storage drawer, Summerset Pizza Oven, and a couple of double door access doors) from a variety of BBQ Island businesses online. I wanted to find a business within 50 miles from Fontana, CA. I found Islands in the Sun and decided to email them my list. Pete DePalma responded quickly and said he would send me a quote. His quote was about $1800 less than other competitors. I was a bit skeptical, but I took a chance. Pete said I would have everything by a specific date. When that date came, he communicated with me to say a few of the components were on back order due to COVID-19 and I would get everything within a week. I'm not going to lie, I was a bit concerned but a week went by and he texted me that he would be delivering the next day. He delivered almost everything, but he was still waiting for my grill and 2 access doors. A few days later, he texted that he would be delivering the rest of our items. As promised, all my items were delivered personally by Pete. I was not disappointed! I wholeheartedly recommend this small business who is professional, courteous, and dependable. Thank you Pete!!! I am very pleased with our new BBQ. I called them because they were located in southern California and hoped they could look at my space with me. Pete showed up exactly on time with his measuring tape and samples of material. He worked with my contractor so the hookups were in the right place. I didn't have to worry about anything.
